Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Truc Son and Director of the Ben Tre Provincial Startup Investment Fund Dang Duc Thanh awarded certificates of merit to the authors whose projects won first prize at the Mekong Delta Startup Project and Idea Competition.
Director of the Department of Planning and Investment Duong Van Phuc – Vice Chairman of the Provincial Advisory Council for Startup and Business Development reported some outstanding results in the main activities of the Festival. In particular, the Competition of Startup Ideas and Projects in the Mekong Delta region received 50 startup ideas and projects from Ben Tre province and other provinces and cities in the region.
As a result, in the movement competition, the Organizing Committee selected 1 first prize idea, 1 second prize idea, 1 third prize idea and 2 consolation prize ideas. In the project competition, the Organizing Committee selected 1 first prize project, 1 second prize project, 1 third prize project and 4 consolation prize projects.
For the STEM Creative Experience Competition, the organizing committee selected 2 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 12 third prizes and 25 consolation prizes for excellent products and models with high scientific content and practicality.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Ben Tre Province OCOP Gift Basket and Product Box Design Contest with 1 second prize, 3 third prizes and 9 consolation prizes. At the same time, the Ben Tre Province Startup Investment Fund awarded capital support to 10 individual households to convert to enterprises.
The Organizing Committee of the Ben Tre Province OCOP Gift Basket and Product Container Design Contest awarded the second prize to the coconut fiber bag product.
The series of activities of the Festival attracted more than 2.000 delegates to attend events, visit, connect, exchange and learn from experiences, including international organizations, localities in the Mekong Delta region, experts, investors, prestigious enterprises inside and outside the province to attend, contributing valuable ideas to develop Ben Tre province based on innovation and science and technology.
At the same time, it opens up many opportunities, promotes cooperation and connection between entities in the ecosystem, is a premise to strongly encourage the entrepreneurial spirit among students, and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of young people, women and farmers.
